Well it's actually a Sugar Skull Kids photo shoot workshop. We have some of the best makeup artists in Houston coming to work on the kids for two hours and then we will shoot them for the next two hours.
We have some cool props lined up to keep to the concept.
We were inspired by Locked Illusion Photographer here in Sugar Land. Their work is youth dark and sticks to a unique style. Our sugar skull workshop is May 12th in a private location for kids 5 yrs to 17yrs. The registration link is here.
All registration for models and photographers are here
http://thephotobinder.com/workshops/ssk.html
Wardrobe is not provided but makeup and hair is. This is a chance to get some unique photos for your portfolio.
The sugar skull kids event set for May 12 from 9-11am with models getting in makeup from 7-9am. This is the Saturday before Mother's Day. Limited spots are available due to 8 makeup artists at this time.

We host monthly workshops for photographers, models, actors and makeup artist. We do this in unique location with a different concept in hopes that everyone involved can add their photos to their portfolio and build it up.
Now, pass the popcorn and tell me what you think?

Gearing up for Bluebonnets

The photo above is Diva Dixie doing her Rosie Rivetor impression and she nailed it. She is always great to work with, the location is a cotton gin that Photographer Roy Kasmir got permission for us to shoot there.
The photo above is model Laci, she was one of the big Dolls at the BDLG workshop two weeks ago. Since then, the state of TX has been on Spring Break. We did a few client photo session and went to Austin during the SWSW music week to visit a ghost town we are doing for our next event there. Wild West Saloon Pinup workshop to be posted soon.
The kids story book photos are finished and loaded on thephotobinder.com; they were amazing to work with and this photo above are of two four year olds acting out their fun day in Texas, Thou it looks like a shotgun wedding to me. lol
Make sure you log in to www.onetalentsource.com Forum this week and vote for your favorite photo in the six catagories; Winners get their photo added in the header of the front page.

Gearing up for the KIDs workshop This Saturday we are doing a KIDs workshop photo shoot to replicate the photos and styles of Famous Photographer Kim Anderson. His style and technique can’t be matched but we are going to try to achieve a similar look. We have 15 to 20 people coming out for a few hours to work on this. Some of the kids have purchased a KIDS book that will mailed to them with their photos added in a published book just for them.
Onetalentsource.com Forum Update
This weekend if you went on the forum you might have found it down because of the upgrade for the software. We did remove the BLOG option since it was not being used. They did give us some new options that everyone will love once they get looking around. Uploading photos and links are much more easies.
New OTS Business Card
Two years ago I ordered OTS Business Cards and it took that long to go though 1000 business cards. I reordered and I also changed the look of the card. Here is what the new cards look like.

Gearing down after the Workshop

Gearing down after the Workshop
Yesterday’s workshop for the WOW3 was just smooth and amazing. We have about forty of us. The Makeup Artists out did themselves. We had a few new MUA’s come out and work on some detailed Beauty finishes on the models that came. We usually give the makeup artist two hours in advance before each workshop but we could only get in at 6am and they could board the ship at 7am. The 5 makeup artists did their best to knock out the models by then and ran a little over 7:30 by the time they finished up their last model. The photographers were all set up by then and ready to shoot. The ship alone is just breath-taking and you add models, is like adding water. Lol
We had a guest Pro-Wedding Photographer / Pro Instructor come to model on the other side of the camera for us. He was a trooper with instructing the models in some amazing photos to add to your portfolio.
Now photos from this event are being posted on this link.

Here is a photo by Photographer Kris Cox of the Elissa Ship in Galveston, where we had the WOW3 (White Outdoor Wedding)3 Photography/Modeling workshop this past weekend.
I think everyone enjoyed the Urban Trash the Dress in the back alleys of the Strand in Galveston after we got off the Ship.
Now we are scan model releases and starting the photo processing from this event. Photos from us will be posted soon. To learn more about these workshop, look at the next seven workshops we have listed on the front page of www.ThePhotoBinder.com
